Single Vehicle Accident has Claimed the Life of an Enterprise Man

On August 18, 2018, at 2:28 AM, the Enterprise Police Department responded to a fatal traffic accident involving a single motor vehicle.
The traffic accident occurred in the 300 Block of Daleville Avenue Enterprise, AL. The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle was travelling westbound on Daleville Avenue when it left the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver has been identified as Michael Isaac Townsend, age 36, of Enterprise, AL. The EPD Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting the traffic accident investigation.
