Special Weather Statement issued February 7 at 12:48PM EST by NWS Tallahassee FL


Areas Affected: Houston; Holmes; Jackson; Early; Geneva


At 1247 PM EST/1147 AM CST/, National Weather Service doppler radar
 indicated a strong thunderstorm over Slocomb, or 9 miles northwest of
Graceville, moving east at 40 mph.

Half inch hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Cottonwood, Graceville, Dothan, Hartford, Taylor, Ashford, Slocomb,
Cowarts, Webb, Malone, Malvern, Rehobeth, Avon, Esto, Madrid, Gordon,
Campbellton, Noma, Bascom and Memphis.


Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
 Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
