CLAY...SOUTHWESTERN RANDOLPH AND SOUTHERN QUITMAN COUNTIES UNTIL 500
PM EDT/400 PM CDT/...
At 421 PM EDT/321 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Richards Crossroads, or 7 miles
northwest of Fort Gaines, moving east at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Fort Gaines, Bellville, Walter F. George Lock And Dam, Walter F
George Lake, Standleys Store, Watson Crossroads, Scottsboro
Crossroads, Double Bridges, Crossroads, Ricks Place, Pecan, Thomas
Mill Creek, Hatcher, Morris, Jones Crossing, Bethel, Cotton Hill,
Fort Gaines-Clay Airport, Days Crossroads and Zetto.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
