This morning Alabama State Representative Steve Close retweeted a tweet from Joshua Rogers: “ I’ve got friends who are going through some bad situations right now. If you talked to them, you’d never know it:.

”We’ll all meet someone today who’s been crushed by life. We won’t know who it is, so we might as well be gentle with everyone we meet. Because you never know”.

Gina L. Diorio tweeted “ My mom always phrased is this way “ Treat everyone as if they have a broken heart, because they probably do”.

TODAY, in Dothan - Houston County, emergency units have rolled to a number of suicide attempts. All over Dothan and in the county. Some have been units on suicide attempt calls in different locations at the same time.

I normally attempt not to cover suicides or suicide attempts until they start increasing. More than most I listen and monitor the emergency calls. And my observation is not a statistical observation, but one of listening to the calls being dispatched and realizing - sounds more frequent.

PRAY, pay attention to your loved ones. Be interested.

To those down and out, ALWAYS LOOK UP. GOD always has HIS arms wrapped around you. You have to ask, seek HIS will, and act on HIS will.

GOD can and will open doors. BUt you have to be willing to push on that door.

As someone who has had family take their life, you are sentencing your family to a life of hell. It destroys people that are left behind.

No problem is to big for GOD to handle. Reach out and seek some help.

THANKS to Steve Clouse for the re-tweet. When I read it this morning I had no idea the meaning of it through the day of listening to emergency calls of suicide attempts.
