Steve Marshall Objected To Ernie Hornsby's Continuance NOW Marshall Files for Continuance

HOUSTON COUNTY:     One of the most respected Attorney At Law in this area is Ernie Hornsby. He represents Center Stage in the lawsuit filed by Attorney General Steve Marshall.


Several weeks ago Ernie Hornsby asked for the case to be continued. The reason was Hornsby had emergency surgery and the recovery had not been as expected. Also Ernie Hornsby's mother, Peggy Hornsby ( one of the most terrific ladies you will ever meet ) was in her final  days of life.


Well Steve Marshall, Alabama Attorney General, in and through his assistant Attorney General John Kachelman III objected. Marshall and Kachelman did not care about Ernie Hornsby's health and asked the court to deny the motion to continue.


The case was set for April 19, Thursday, for a preliminary injunction to close Center Stage until a final determination is made. Dothan - Houston County has lost over 150 jobs and Attorney General Steve Marshall did not care, he wanted an additional 100 jobs lost in closing Center Stage. Closing to see if they were in violation of the law.


Well last evening Attorney General Steve Marshall, in and through his assistant, John L. Kachelman III filed a motion about 9 PM, AN ELECTRONICALLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENT, asking the court to continue the case of Center Stage.


In the Marshall/Kachelman motion, they state the attorney's for Center Stage, Ashton Ott and Ernie Hornsby " have no objection to a continuance in this matter ".


That my friend, shows the class of Ashton Ott and Ernie Hornsby. But the prior objection my Marshall/Kachelman shows the lack of professionalism and integrity on their part. Because they objected because one of the most respected attorney's Ernie Hornsby was honest about his health.


However the Circuit Judge assigned this case knew that Ernie Hornsby is one of the most respected Attorney's At Law, was truthful and honest. That Judge also knows, or should know the dishonesty and lack of integrity of Steve Marshall and the Alabama Attorney General's Office. The Judge continued the case as he should have done.


On June 5 the voters of the State of Alabama will have a chance to vote Steve Marshall out of office as Attorney General. Marshall was hand selected to be Attorney General of the State of Alabama but former Alabama Governor Robert Bentley. That was a bad decision of Governor Bentley.


BY THE WAY... Steve Marshall was born in Atmore Alabama, where the Indians have a casino.
