A pit maneuver was executed at the intersection of Satellite Road and Tri-County Airport Road.

The vehicle had been entered as stolen by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office. Brown was transported to the Jackson County Jail to await first appearance.
Chief Chris Wells stated that he greatly appreciates the assistance rendered by the Holmes, Washington and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office(s) and the Chipley Police Department for their assistance in the pursuit and subsequent arrest. Wells stated, “I greatly appreciate the manpower and assistance provided by all agencies.
We have to work together to get the job done and this case is a good example of cooperation among our neighboring agencies. Sheriff Tate, Sheriff Crews and Sheriff Roberts were all on-scene along with myself and assisted with the case. I cannot express my appreciation enough for the assistance rendered by their agencies.”
