Summer Baseball and Softball Camps Scheduled at Wallace Community College

Dothan: Baseball and softball players from ages six through thirteen can improve their skills with college-level coaching by attending summer camps at Wallace Community College-Dothan. The camps will be held June 12-15.


WCCD Head Coach Mackey Sasser, WCCD Assistant Coach Brett Birdsong and WCCD baseball players will conduct the Mackey Sasser Baseball Camp. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running. The camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon (drop off begins at 7:45 a.m.). The cost is $100. WCCD Head Softball Coach David Russo, WCCD Assistant Coach Clair Goodson and WCCD softball players will conduct the David Russo Softball Camp. Participants will learn the fundamentals of hitting, fielding, base running, and pitching as well as live game action. The camp will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon (drop off begins at 8:30 a.m.). The cost is $90.
