Suspect in Troy parking lot shooting turns himself in

TROY, AL (WSFA) - The suspect in a shooting Friday night in Troy has turned himself in.
According to the Troy Police Department, Abrien Kirk Myhand, 23, turned himself in to the Pike County Jail at around 10 a.m. Sunday. He is charged with attempted murder.
Chief Randall Barr said the suspect walked up to an occupied vehicle in the parking lot of a convenience store on South Brundidge Street Friday afternoon and fired multiple rounds into the car, striking a 20-year-old victim. Barr said Myhand and the victim exchanged words prior to the shooting.
