Suspicious Person Call Lands One in Jail

On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, JCSO recieved a report of a female walking on Park Ave in Alford, taking her clothes off and barking at the street. Further information was recieved that the female entered a Jackson County Fire and Rescue ambulance that was parked at it's asssinged station and activated the emergency lights while inside.
A Deputy with the Field Services Division responded and located the female in question in a vehicle parked at local buisness in the area. The female was determined to have entered the vehicle without the permission of the owner and to have no affiliation with the owner.
The Deputy observed the female to be disoriented, confused, and exhibiting signs of being under the influence of a mind altering or intoxicating substance. The female subject identified herself as Devon Toole and it was determined that she had removed items from the ambulance. Toole also admitted to being under the influence of methamphetamine.
Toole was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
