Suspicious Vehicle Lands One in Jail

     On 6-15-18 at approximately 11:12 a.m., the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a concerned citizen regarding a suspicious vehicle parked at the intersection of Oaks Dr. and Neals Landing.


     A Deputy with the Uniform Patrol Division of the Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and made contact with the occupants of the vehicle.  After obtaining the occupants information, a warrants check through FCIC/NCIC revealed an active warrant out of this County for one of the occupants, Lenhart Williams.


     Lenhart Williams was placed under arrest and transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.  The other two occupants were released and the vehicle was released to a family member.
