DOTHAN:   SYNOVUS Banking-Lending-Investing, formally CB & T on West Main Street near Adventureland is one of those extortion fee charging banks.

If you do not have an account with them and present a check written to you on their bank for services rendered, anything over $ 25.00;a fee is charged. 

In other words, your grandchild cuts your yard and you pay him $ 50.00, SYNOVUS Bank charges a minimum of $ 2.00 cash the check.

tht is, just because your grandparents bank there and you don’t, and you have no account there, fee to the bank to cash their customers check.

So if you do work for someone who banks with SYNOVUS BANK in crease the fees you charge a SYNOVUS BANK customer. A minimum of $ 5.00 - but for the hassle, charge them $ 25.00

And the bank manager, Mr. Hale, just shrugs his shoulders.
