On Sunday September 23, 2018 at around 12:42 am officers with the Marianna Police Department were dispatched to the Big Little Chevron gas station at Penn Ave and Lafayette St in reference to an armed robbery where the suspect was armed with a knife. While enroute officers learned that the suspect was being followed by a witness. Officers were able to intercept the suspect’s vehicle and attempted to stop the vehicle.
