Confidence continues to increase in heavy rainfall centered on tonight. A Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for the Western Panhandle, portions of Southwest Georgia, and Southeast Alabama, locations highly vulnerable to flooding.

Heavy rainfall in a short period of time across this area could lead to rapidly rising water on roads and in low-lying areas. There will also be some rises on smaller rivers and creeks but little additional impacts on the main stem rivers.

In addition, a low threat of severe weather exists tonight across areas adjacent to the coast, generally west of Apalachicola.
