ALABAMA: Interesting fact about the Alabama Supreme Court Justices.
Under the sorriest Alabama Governor we have ever had, Bob Riley, when the so called eleite Judges removed Roy Moore as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, Riley appointed Drayton Nabors to fill the seat of Roy Moore.
The next election Drayton Nabors was defeated by the Alabama Voters.
Next vacancy occurs when Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb abandoned the trust of the Alabama voters and resigned as Chief Justice. Then Alabama Governor Robert Bentley appointed Chuck Malone to fill the vacancy of Sue Bell Cobb.
Malone faced Roy Moore and another contender for Alabama Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court. Moore won big over the two without a runoff.
Then it was not long that the so called elite Judges removed Roy Moore again. Alabama Governor Kay Ivey appointed Lyn Stewart as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court.
Stewart faced opposition in the primary race. Stewart was defeated in the primary elections by Tom Parker.
So three appointed Chief Justices of the Alabama Supreme Court by Alabama Governors. All three defeated as soon as election time rolled around.
Note to those who do not understand - this article is not about Roy Moore. It is about Governor's appointing Chief Justices. As soon as voters could vote they were defeated.
