Although everyone tries to park on the north side of Foster Fest and gets jammed up, there’s great parking options on South Saint Andrews Street, in the 200 block. There’s a vacant lot at the old Herman and Ann’s, there’s a vacant lot across from the old Market at St Andrews, and there’s two lots up on either side of The Thirsty Pig (257 South Saint Andrews St). You can park at the Thirsty Pig and legally buy a craft beer there and carry your open container with you on the block walk over to the south stage of Foster Fest if you want. The Thirsty Pig Craft Beer Taproom is celebrating Oktoberfest tonight with $5 bratwursts while they last and a POLKA BAND from 6-8. They have $3 cans of Folklore available to take with you, and The Thirsty Pig is an all ages facility with clean rest rooms and food and sodas, too. Open till Foster Fest is over tonight.
