The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Eastern Geneva County in southeastern Alabama...
Northwestern Houston County in southeastern Alabama...
* Until 1245 PM CST.
* At 1220 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Hartford, or 11 miles south of Daleville,
moving northeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
eastern Geneva and northwestern Houston Counties, including the
following locations... Kellys Crossroads, Eunola, High Bluff,
Highfalls, Dundee, Bald Hill, Geneva Municipal A/P, Power Dam Road,
Hendrix Crossroad and Bailey Crossroad.
