Traffic Stop Lands One in Jail

On January 16, 2018 at 2334 hrs, Officers with the Marianna Police Department conducted traffic stop on a tan Toyota Corolla for an equipment violation on South St and Green St.
It was determined that the driver, Randolf Kalston Blake, was Driving While his License was revoked as a Habitual Traffic Offender. Blake was arrested for a felony violation of Habitually Driving While his License was Suspended or Revoked.
During the course of the investigation, it was learned through a computer records check that the vehicle Blake was driving was reported stolen from St Petersburg, Fl in Pinellas County.
Additional charges may be pending in the Pinellas County Stolen Vehicle investigation.
The Marianna Police Department will work with the Pinellas County Sheriff’ s Office to ensure the vehicle is returned to the rightful owner.
