Traffic Stop lands One in Jail on Drug Charges

JCSO deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Wilson St. and Iowa St. in Grandridge, for a traffic infraction. During the traffic stop it was determined that the driver, Lloyd L. Carter was in possession of methamphetamine and equipment common to the use of methamphetamine. At the conclusion of the traffic stop, Lloyd Carter was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and incarcerated in the Jackson County Correctional Facility.
