Traffic Stop lands One in Jail on Drug Charges

On Wednesday August 1, 2018 at approximately 1:00 am traffic stop was conducted by Officers of the Marianna Police Department, on a black in color truck driving westbound on Lafayette Street due to a traffic infraction.
During the course of the traffic stop the driver identified himself as Bradley Shane Bailey. Bailey advised officers, the vehicle he was driving was unregistered and he did not possess a valid driver’s license. After confirming this information Bailey was taken into custody. Upon advising Bailey of the towing of his vehicle pending an inventory of it, he informed officers of a bag of marijuana being present in the vehicle.
While conducting a search of the vehicle the marijuana was recovered along with other items associated with the sale of narcotics. A continued search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery methamphetamine accompanied with paraphernalia.
Bradley Bailey was then delivered to Jackson County Correctional Facility to await First Appearance on the fore mentioned charges.
