Traffic Stop Lands One in Jail on Trafficking Charges

HOUSTON COUNTY: On February 14, 2019; as part of an ongoing drug investigation the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force conducted a traffic stop on Cecil Varnum Road in the Hodgesville area.


During the traffic stop approximately 7 ounces of Methamphetamine was located. Following the traffic stop a search warrant was obtained and executed for a home on Harper Joy Road in Hodgesville where another 2 ounces of Methamphetamine was located and multiple firearms.


Christy Danielle Creamer (white female 34 years of age) was arrested and charged with Drug Trafficking in Methamphetamine. Creamer was transported and booked into the Houston County Jail with a $500,000.00 bond.
