Traffic Stop Leads to an Arrest

On June 3, 2017, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office conducted a Traffic Stop in the 4500 Block of S. Co. Road 33 in the Lovetown Community. Matthew Bristow, a 24 year old white male of Ashford, AL was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana 2 nd Degree, and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs. The Traffic Stop resulted in an additional Investigation, and Bristow was subsequently arrested and charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and Theft of Property 3rd Degree. Bristow was placed in the Houston County Jail with bonds totaling $11,000.00.
