Dothan. Feb. 28: Representing cities and towns across the Wiregrass Area, the newly-formed Tri-State Community Choir presents its first public performance on Sunday, Mar. 10, at 7:00 PM.
The group has been rehearsing together for 9 weeks to bring the work of Dan Forrest, Jubilate Deo, to the stage. The choral setting of Psalm 100 is presented in seven languages with a full professional orchestra.
The performance is at Covenant United Methodist Church, and free to the public. Childcare is provided. Donations will be accepted to fund this and future performances. Volunteers are needed to help greet and seat guests. Contact [email protected] to volunteer or get additional information about the performance and the choir.
For advanced photo/video and interviews, media is invited to attend the final rehearsals at Covenant United Methodist Church, listed below. On site contact is Artistic Director Laura Grace Holmes, (334) 618-3735.
