Two Alabama prison correctional officers have been arrested in separate incidents over the past three days.
Alabama Department of Corrections agents arrested an officer at the Staton Correctional Facility in Elmore on Saturday for attempting to smuggle illegal contraband into the prison, said ADOC spokesman Bob Horton.
Darryl Jerome Bradley, 24, was arrested about 10 p.m. The Millbrook was charged with promoting prison contraband and unlawful possession of marijuana. Following his arrest, Bradley resigned from his position. He had been with the ADOC since January 2018.
