Two Georgia Men Arrested on Drug Charges

On January 10, 2018, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office Vice Unit, along with the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force, concluded a three week long drug investigation with the arrest of two subjects and a substantial amount of methamphetamine being seized.


A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in Columbia, AL. During the stop, a search of the vehicle was conducted. The search resulted in approximately five ounces of methamphetamine being located inside the vehicle.


Steven Anthony Jordan, a 53 year old white male of Albany, GA, and Ralph Joseph Skurka, Jr., a 43 year old white male of Camilla, GA, were arrested and charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine.


Jordan and Skurka were placed in the Houston County Jail with a bond of $60,000.00 each.
