Two People Killed in Motor Vehicle Crash on I-85

WAUGH, AL (WSFA) - One lane of Interstate 85 southbound has been reopened after a multi-vehicle crash involving fatalities.
According to Cpl. Jess Thornton with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, troopers initially shut down all lanes but have since reopened one. Delays can still be seen in the area. There are two confirmed fatalities at this time.
Motorists say troopers have begun diverting traffic off at exit 22.
No other information about the crash has been released.
