UPDATE: Alabama man shot dead in Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -A man from South Alabama has died after a shooting in Albany early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 900 block of Mercedes Street shortly after 5 a.m. This is just a few blocks away from ASU's campus.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside a white PGW Auto Glass van wounded and unconscious. The passenger side window was shattered.
Coroner Michael Fowler said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the 35-year-old victim is from Dothan, Alabama and was in Albany making a delivery to a local auto glass dealer.
