COWARTS:   10:57 PM.    Houston County Sheriff 911 Dispatched Deputies To Cowarts On Jester Street to a burglary in progress.


The suspect is reported to be wearing all black.


Houston County has K-9 unit on the ground tracking subject. Gordon Police Chief Jim Mock, Alabama Department of Law Enforcement Troopers and State Bureau Of Investigation assisting in search.

Houston County Sheriff Criminal Investigation Lt. Hatcher has responded to the scene.


Sheriff K-9 tracked suspect. Track has been lost. All units have returned to the scene of the burglary on Jester Street.
