GENEVA COUNTY:   9:39 PM.     Geneva County 911 has dispatched Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms, members of Geneva County Sheriff Department, Fadette Fire and other emergency units to a missing 14 year old special needs child.


Reports are the child ran from the house and unknown where he ran.


The search area is on Old Fadette Road In Geneva County.

Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson has dispatched the Dale County Sheriff Air units to assist and help with the search of the 14 year old missing special needs child.


The air unit, a vision of retired Dale County Sheriff Bryant Mixon and retired Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Tim McDonald has been a tremendous asset and help many people and agencies.


The vision of Mixon and McDonald has been upgraded and improved as well as expanded under Dale County Sheriff Wally Olson and Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum. Thanks to them and members of Dale County Commission who have a vision of what public service and public safety is all about.
