DOTHAN:   7:33 AM.  Dothan 911 has dispatched emergency units to a serious - critical motor vehicle accident. The location is East Saunders Road and Simms Road intersection.

Multiple emergency vehicles are responding.

Dothan Fire continues to extricate the victim from the accident. The person is deceased on the scene.

We are withholding the pictures until the next of kin can be contacted. Dothan Police have closed Saunders Road from 3rd Ave to Cottonwood Road and it will be closed until they complete their investigation.

Saunders Road is now reopened.

The person killed in this mornings accident has been identified as 70 year old Samuel Armstrong of Dothan. Our hearts and prayers go to the of Mr. Armstrong.
