HOUSTON COUNTY: Cowarts Fire and Ashford Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash at US 84 and Christmas Road. One juvenile complaining of back pain.
Houston County Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Management also responded. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.

The injuries were minor in nature.
A east bound vehicle on Highway 84. A vehicle pulled from Christmas Road onto Highway 84 also traveling in a eastern direction.
One vehicle struck the rear of the vehicle which had just pulled onto Highway 84.
Ashford Rescue treated patients on the scene. No serious injuries.
ALEA - State Trooper Jason McCallister was in charge of the accident investigation.
Ashford Rescue, Cowarts Fire, Ashford Police, Houston County Sheriff Department, ALEA - State Trooper and Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management responded.

Correction - the red truck was actually east bound on Hwy. 84 East and turning right into Christmas Road.
The other vehicle had reported to have looked down and did not notice they were making a right turn and struck the red truck.
No juvenile was hurt. The initial call to 911 said a juvenile was involved but there were no juveniles involved in the accident involved.
