DOTHAN:     1:17 PM    Houston County Sheriff 911 dispatched Houston County Sheriff Deputies, Alabama State Troopers, Rehobeth Volunteer Fire to a motor vehicle accident, Highway 231 South at Moffitt Road.


Reports of a lawn equipment trailer overturning.


No reports on injuries at this time.

Houston County Sheriff Major Bill Rafferty was first on the scene. Major Rafferty reported no injuries, cancel fire department response. Alabama State Troopers are responding.

This accident is in relationship to the accident at Highway 231 South at Saunders Road. This vehicle was involved in that accident.


Matt Boster is still on the scene and has more details. Some of which are being held due to the accident being a fatality. So more information will be released later.
