GENEVA COUNTY: Malvern Fire and Slocomb Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in the 300 block of South County 49 just off hwy 52. Reports are possible entrapment.
Wiregrass Life Flight was auto launched to the scene. At least one was transported by ambulance to the hospital with a Trauma Alert. Geneva County Sheriff’s Office also responded.
The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.

A Field was being burned off and smoke was across the road. It appeared to be passable until you were into the smoke and then sudden blackness.
A two vehicle accident one overturned. There was entrappment. One person transported by Slocomb Rescue to Flowers Hospital, trauma alert. Patient was conscious and talking.
The driver of the Jeep was not transported.
Slocomb Rescue, Malvern Volunteer Fire, Geneva County Sheriff Department and Alabama State Troopers.
