Emergency personnel are on the scene of a head-on collision on US Highway 84 and N. Broad St. in Cowarts. One vehicle is fully engulfed in flames at this time.
The westbound lane of 84 will be closed for a long period of time. Avoid Highway 84 in Cowarts!
Avoid the area. Numerous first responders are on scene. There are 2 injuries but the extent of those injuries are unknown at this time. Two patients were transported to SAMC.
1:06 p.m. - Again, expect long delays if traveling on Highway 84 Westbound from Georgia to Dothan.
