DOTHAN: 2:15 PM. DOTHAN 911 dispatched Dothan Police - Dothan Fire and EMS to 411 Florida Avenue to an edged weapon assault.
The initial reports are stab wound to the chest. The suspect was the person calling 911.
Multiple emergency units are on the scene. Unknown patients condition.

Dothan Fire is transporting patient, trauma alert, by local EMS with Dothan Paramwdic on Ambulance to a local hospital.

The victim, a black Male, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Dothan Police have one person of interest in custody at DOTHAN Police headquarters where questioning underway.
UNCONFIRMED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT the victim and suspect are boyfriend/girlfriend. The victim suffered a stab wound to the chest.
Dothan Police continue the investigation.
