Emergency units escorting a ambulance to Flowers Hospital with a child on an emergency.

PRAY   PRAY  PRAY for this child, medical staff and other emergency units.

Will update later. But please pray.

UPDATED @ 6:49 PM

This prayer request is for a 12 year child that was rushed to Flowers Hospital by ambulance with a life threatening injury. The ambulance rolled to Houston County from another county.

In seconds notice Houston County Sheriff Deputy Captain James Ivey had just gone off duty and scrambled back in service to intercept the ambulance. Houston County Sheriff Deputy Sgt. David Asbill scrambled back in service and intercepted the ambulance, both running ahead clearing traffic.

Dothan-Houston County Emergency Management Director Chris Judah scrambled into intersections and clearing traffic on Highway 84 West and Houston County Sheriff Lt. Tony Turner scrambled into position to clear the road and intersections.

The ambulance never had to slow down at all. Law Enforcement from their home jurisdiction also was running ahead clearing the pathway.

Highway 84 West is a nightmare just driving this time of the day. But when notified these men jumped into action to make sure that ambulance safely but swiftly made it to the hospital. That all the EMS and Law Enforcement could possibly do they did to get this child to medical professionals. And to those in the back of the ambulance - they were giving all they could do.

The child is in critical care unit.

We will not be releasing any details on the circumstances of the life threatening injury. While I might not have handle this properly by just posting time to pray and not expanding on that request, all I can say is that Rickey Stokes believes in the power of prayer. Very strongly believes in the power of prayer.

I will go ahead and say I believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that HE walked and lived on this earth as a human being without sin. That Jesus was/is God's only begotten son, who died on the cross for our sins. And through faith and belief in HIM, we SHALL HAVE EVER LASTING LIFE.

So with that said I believe that we can not control the outcomes of situations, but GOD gives us wisdom to handle situations. And through us, HE makes things happen. Some are good and some are bad. And we wonder why bad things happen to good people. But we do not know the future, only who holds the future. Through FAITH we have to believe.

So please trust me in asking for prayer. And please respect that circumstances will not be released. Just continue to pray.
