HEADLAND: Last evening about this time of night a black male entered the Citgo in Headland and committed a armed robbery.
A black male suspect wearing no shirt, armed with a handgun, took the cash register and safe. He then fled the scene.
Headland Director of Public Safety - Police Chief Mark Jones, members of patrol and investigation of Headland Police Department hit the street. They worked leads and information.
This afternoon Headland arrested Kenneth Earl Johnson Turner, age 34 of Headland for the armed robbery. He has been placed in the Henry County Jail.
The investigation continues.

The robbery was at the GULF Station and not the Citgo.
The Gulf Station is the old Chevron there on Hwy. 431.
