HOUSTON COUNTY: 09:14 AM. This morning before Houston County District Court Judge Benjamin Lewis was a bond hearing on Sylvio King.
King was arrested by Houston County Sheriff Investigator Cpl. Ricky Herring on multiple charges to include possession of bomb, attempted murder, breaking and entering a motor vehicle and other charges. King is being held in Houston County Jail.
Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza described this case as a multi agency investigation. The investigation Les the investigative team to arrest King.
King was court appointed an attorney, Ben Freeman. The State was represented by Assistant District Attorney Mark Johnson.
Freeman argued that all defendants except those facing death penalty offenses are entitled to a bond.
Johnson said that King is alleged to have detonated this device with a remote. That he visited several businesses and purchased the materials to make a detonate the bomb. That King has no ties to Houston County, a flight risk, a danger to society, and federal charges are expected.
Following the hearing Honorable Benjamin Lewis said he would take the case under advisement and issue a ruling later.

Houston County District Court Judge set a $ 1 million Dollar bond for King. That means he is stuck in Jail.
