HEADLAND: 5:17 PM. Headland Police Department has a manhunt in the woods between Walden Pond Road and Highway 431.
BOLO'S have been issued for two black males wearing white shirt and shorts.
Headland Director of Public Safety Director Mark Jones has called all Headland Police Officers to get in service and respond. Chief Jones has called the track dogs from Ventress Correctional Institute.
The suspects fled from a stolen vehicle.
Members of Henry County Sheriff Department and Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox is on the scene.
Anyone that see's anything suspicious call Headland Police at 3334-693-2222 or call 911.

Headland Police Chief/Director of Public Safety Mark Jones reports one in custody. Subject was taken into custody around Walden Pond.
Manhunt still underway.
Multiple Law Enforcement agencies and officers on the scene to include Henry County Sheriff Will Maddox.

Headland Director of Public Safety/Police Chief Mark Jones and members of Headland Police Department continue to search for the suspect. One is in custdoy and one is still at large.

Multiple Officers are still on the street. Alabama Game and Fish brought tracking dogs. Headland Police are running different leads attempting to locate suspect.

This morning when I was going to church Dothan Police dispatched units to a stolen vehicle. Someone associated with the owner of the vehicle posted the stolen vehicle on FACEBOOK.
A Headland Police Officer had seen the stolen vehicle posted on FACEBOOK. The Headland Officer spotted the vehicle. When the officer went to stop the vehicle the driver sped up attempting to elude the officer.
Tonight as I was going to church the Headland chase took place.
A brief chase of the stolen vehicle on Walden Drive, the driver went to go through a backyard striking a tree. Both the driver and passenger fled. The Headland Officer was able to apprehend the passenger.
Public Safety Director/Police Chief Mark Jones called all Headland Police Officers out and to report to duty.
Alabama Game and Fish brought K-9 but the suspect track was unable to be located.
Moments ago Chief Jones ended the active manhunt. The investigation will continup for the car thief in a joint effort of Headland Police and Dothan Police.
