DALE COUNTY: 9:38 AM Ozark - Dale County 911 has dispatched emergency units from Dale County Sheriff Department and Geneva County Sheriff Department to a shooting.
The shooting location is Highway 85 in Dale County, between Coffee and Geneva County.
Reports are the suspect is inside the store with no clothing. A gunshot victim is in the parking lot outside shot in the neck.
EMS from Geneva County is responding.

Geneva County Sheriff Deputies and Dale County Sheriff Deputies are on the scene.

Dale County Sheriff Deputies have suspect in custody and scene secured. EMS has been requested ASAP.

Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum is on the scene.
Geneva Rescue is transporting one from the scene, emergency. Hartford Fire - Rescue is on the scene along with Bellwood Fire, and Enterprise Rescue.

The victim's condition is listed as serious.
Within 10 minutes of call being dispatched, law enforcement officers from Geneva County Sheriff Department, Dale County Sheriff Department, and Alabama Department of Law Enforcement were on the scene.
Some of those arriving within ten minutes, Geneva County Sheriff Tony Helms, Alabama Department of Law Enforcement - Trooper Division Colonel Charles Ward and Trooper Gwaltney. Taking just a couple minutes longer because of distance but only minutes was Dale County Sheriff Chief Deputy Mason Bynum.

Coffee County Sheriff Captain Hines was on the scene of the shooting. The shooter is from Coffee County.

The initial reports the shooter did not have clothes on. The Shooter did have clothes on.

From my understanding this was related to an arguement between truck drivers. That resulted into a shooting.
