DOTHAN: At 9:46 PM... Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at 1412 East Newton Street. The first unit on scene advised heavy smoke and flames visible from the rear of the structure.
Battalion 1 has command. Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road.

Firefighters quickly made entry and were able to get the fire knocked down. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Firefighters did a primary search of the home to verify no one was inside.
