DOTHAN:  At 10:20 PM... Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire at Country Inn and Suites. The first unit on scene advised light smoke visible. Battalion Chief Pete Webb has command.


Engine 3 is making entry at this time. Reports are possibly burnt food . One person was out on the balcony. Engine 3 advised they have located the source of the smoke was a pizza in the microwave, NO FIRE... Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance.


The smoke was in room 307 but no other rooms appeared to be effected.


UPDATED @ 10:40 PM...


Engine 3 just advised Chief Webb they could release all other units on scene except Engine 3 and Truck 3. Dothan Police, Pilcher's, Engine 1, Engine 6 were all released to return to service.
