UPDATED AT 10:49 AM - Serious critical wreck Hwy 431 Henry County- Multiple Entrapments

HENRY COUNTY

Emergency crews from multiple agents are on the scene of a critical wreck on 431 near the yeast plant involving a semi-truck with multiple entrapments.  Both North and South bond lanes are closed at this time.

UPDATE AT 10:24 AM

Involved in the accident was two vehicles and a semi.  All patients have been extricated and being transported to a medical facility.

At least four people were transported by Ambulance to the hospital. Fire units from Headland, Kinsey and Dothan Fire Heavy Rescue responded to the scene. Ambulances from Headland, Abbeville and Dothan Also responded. Headland Police, Henry County Sheriff's Office, Alabama State Troopers and DOT Enforcement also responded along with Alabama Department of Transportation. The Northbound lanes are reopen but are being used as two lanes so traffic is still backed up in both directions.
