DOTHAN: 11:50 pm Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Fire and local EMS to reports of a structure fire at Alabaster Bay Apartments on Highway 231 South of Dothan.
Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) was the first engine on the scene. A multi family dwelling with nothing visible. The arrival time was 11:53 PM.
Dothan Fire Engine 4 ( Southside ) arrived at 11:55 PM and was standing by ar a fire hydrant awaiting instructions from the primary engine when they syrvey.
Alabaster Bay Apartments Maintenance Manager was responding.
If no updates nothing else to the fire but the alarm sounding.
The third fire engine was on the scene at 11:56 PM. That engine was Engine 1 ( Central ) and Batallion 2 ( on duty overall Batallion Chief ) on the scene.
UPDATED AT 12 midnight
No Fire. Engine 2 helping maintenance reset the alarm.
