UPDATED at 3:47 PM... Armed Robbery in Bay Spring

HOUSTON COUNTY:  At 3:35 PM... Houston County Sheriff's 911 dispatched an armed robbery at Bay Springs Market Place. Reports are a white male about 6 foot tall slender build. The suspect was last seen heading South on Bay Springs Road. Sheriff Deputy was on scene with in minutes and the suspect was no where in site.

Lt Ivey stated a red headed white male armed with a hand gun.

BOLO has been issued for a possible U-Haul Truck last seen south bound on South bound on Bay Springs Road. Also possible a gold passenger car could be the suspect vehicle.

The suspect, a white male, 6', possible red hair, plaid shorts. Last seen running on foot south from the store. A U-Haul truck has been possibly associated with the suspect and robbery.

When dispatched, within 30 seconds, a Houston County Sheriff Deputy was on the scene of the robbery.

A gold vehicle, possibly Grand Marquis, could be associated with this robbery.
