Houston County Sheriff’s Office is asking your assistance in getting this information out to the public.


On June 20, 2018 at or about 5:30 a.m. the following individual broke into a residence in Ashford, Al. "Domestic Related"


The subject was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence "Burglary 2nd"


The subject kick out a side window of a HCSO unit and fled on foot.


The subject had on a pair of shorts and a set of HCSO handcuffs when he fled.


Offender: Stewart Edward Wilkerson

                40 year old white male

                5’11" HGT

                140 to 160 LBS

                Brown hair

                Blue eyes

The suspect returned to the house from this morning and was held down by multiple subjects until Deputies arrived. He is in Custody. Ashford Police assisted in the arrest.

Wilkerson was taken into custody on Old Hwy 84 in Ashford without incident
