DOTHAN: At 8:29 PM.. Dothan Police responded to an Edged weapon assault at 611 South Edgewood. The suspect is reported to have jumped the fence heading in an unknown direction. Reports are the victim has a wound to the chest.


At 8:32 PM the first officer has arrived on scene and cleared it rescue to respond in to treat the victim. Other police officers are searching for the suspect.


Dothan Police reported the injuries to the victim are minor. The police have a suspect name and suspect vehicle description.

The victims wounds were not life threating and they went to the hospital by personal vehicle.
