DALE COUNTY: At 3:03 PM... Pickard, Newton , Bay Springs and Wicksburg are on the scene of a large grass fire that has already claimed a barn on Dale County 549 just outside of Pinkard. Pinkard Fire has managed to cut the fire off before it claimed anymore structures but are still battling the grass fire.
Reports are heavy smoke in the area so everyone use extreme caution when driving in this area.
