HEADLAND, Ala. – Beginning Tuesday, February 6, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 431 near the Red Star Yeast Company to make repairs to the railroad crossing.
While the southbound lanes are closed the northbound lanes will be open to traffic traveling north and south.
The work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through a construction zone and to plan accordingly for delays.
