Walk For Warriors In Dothan

DOTHAN:    8:32 AM.  This morning the Walk For Warriors began at Planet Fitness. 


The walk is going on the west side of Ross Clark Circle walking south and around the Ross Clark Circle.


Ben Jimmerson did the walk last year. Followed by his dad in the Jeep and joined by several others. Jimmerson carries weights in his backpack representing those serving in Armed Forces and those who have served.


The Public is welcome to join them along the walk for as much or as little as you can. Former Houston County Sheriff Andy Hughes is walking with the group today.


Houston County Volunteer Fire and Rescue are riding along with the walkers making sure they are safe from motorists being struck by vehicles. The Houston County Fire and Rescue are donating their time to assist the walkers.
