Wallace-Dothan Hosts Inaugural SIM Clinic for Area Second Graders

Wallace Community College-Dothan will welcome over 1,000 area second graders for the first ever SIM Clinic. (SIM is short for Simulation.) The students, representing 15 schools and 48 individual classrooms, will join Wallace Health Science faculty and students for fun events that teach children the importance of maintaining good health and wellness. With the help of WCCD Super Heroes, the children will learn about nutrition, exercise, hygiene, safety, and the health professions.



Faculty and students from Associate Degree Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Medical Assisting, Physical Therapist Assistant, Practical Nursing, Radiologic Technology, and Respiratory Therapist programs will all be on hand for this event.
